We are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor (Permanent role) to join our team in Dundalk, County Louth.
This is a day role, covering Thursday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Manage day to day events and planning in the warehouse.
2. Knowledge / understanding of WMS.
3. Ensure JDE ERP system is up to date.
4. Maintain housekeeping at a high standard.
5. Ensure all goods in are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
6. Ensure all despatch is processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
7. Ensure all product is picked and returns processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
8. Complete and update training for all warehouse staff.
9. Effectively communicate information to relevant depts.
10. Be available to work and train in all company depots and departments.
11. Have clean full driving licence as you will be required to drive co. vehicles.
12. Be competent in counterbalance, reach and VNA vehicles.
13. Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times.
14. Assist in the implementation of all new work practices and processes.
15. Carry out various additional tasks in line with Company goals.
16. Ensure KPI’s are met documented and circulated.
17. Be available to work across all shifts and all sites.
18. As this is a senior role within the company you may be required to work outside normal hours from time to time.
19. Any other additional tasks that may be required by your Manager or any other person so appointed to act with such authority.
Essential Knowledge / Skills
1. Third level technical or logistics certificate, diploma, or degree ideally. Suitable experience also satisfactory.
2. A minimum of three years supervisory/people management experience in a busy warehouse environment.
3. High level of PC skills required.
4. Strong understanding of WMS.
5. Good Capacity Planning skills.
6. Supervisory Management Diploma or similar.
Desirable
1. Strong understanding of Scanning and the ability to drive a project to conclusion.
2. Ability to support the building up of a Warehouse function from scratch.
