We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Social Care Workers to join our team and play a key role in the provision of services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Deputy Person in Charge in overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
2. Support the implementation of care plans and ensure they are tailored to meet individual needs.
3. Monitor compliance with relevant TUSLA legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
4. Deliver high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care and services to all residents.
5. Complete key working duties as assigned by the Social Care Leader.
6. Empower residents to exercise their autonomy and independence, including proactively supporting their independence through assisting their ongoing education, training and employment.
7. Support residents to complete activities of daily living and identify social clubs aligned to their interests e.g. rugby, football, art, dance, drama etc.
Requirements:
1. A relevant qualification at Level 7 or higher in Social Care or hold a CORU registration under the Social Care Worker division.
2. Experience within social care and working with children.
3. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in social care.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to use own initiative.
6. Commitment to upholding the values of dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
