Experienced Activities Co-ordinator to assist in quality care provision through daily activities, assessments, and special events.
Responsibilities include:
* Organising daily activities (arts, baking, gardening, etc.)
* Reviewing resident assessments and planning special activities
* Implementing daily and weekly activity programs
* Greeting new residents, encouraging participation, and educating staff
* Recording resident attendance and liaising with local services
* Maintaining daily files and charts, and keeping staff updated on resident conditions
* Assisting with orientation, attending training courses, and performing escort duties
* Reporting concerns to lead nurses
Eligibility:
Qualifications:
Essential: Leaving Certificate
Desirable: Healthcare Qualification, Sonas Course Level 1 & 2
Experience:
Essential: Nursing Home or Social Care experience
Desirable: Specialist skills in cooking, gardening, knitting, music, arts and crafts
