Your new role is to provide accounting support to a growing business based in Galway. This is a standalone position, primarily focused on assisting the Managing Director with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare payroll for weekly paid employees and related support activities
* Deal with queries related to payroll and the employee clocking system
* Timely process supplier invoices on a monthly basis and perform reconciliation
* Bank reconciliation and resolving supplier account queries
* Assist with preparing tenders and ad hoc accounting and administration work as required (ordering new equipment/materials for the office)
* Manage RCT payments
Requirements
* The accounting technician qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
* At least 3-4 years' experience working in accounts, preferably in a construction-based setting
* Solid financial fundamentals
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail
* An ambitious, energetic, and motivated individual
Flexibility
This role offers a flexible hybrid approach, allowing you to work from home 3-4 days a week. The frequency of office presence will depend on your preference or project requirements.
