Job Title: Financial Controller
A highly skilled and experienced financial professional is sought to join our team as a Senior Financial Controller. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and take on new challenges, with a view to stepping into a director and potentially partnership role in the future.

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with our current Finance Director to understand the day-to-day running of the business and develop your knowledge of our operations.
* Manage and develop two financial assistants, working on the month-end process from AP to AR to General Ledger and Reconciliations.
* Own the payroll vendor relationship, liaising with HR on BIK etc, and be the point of contact for internal payroll queries.
* Become the main point of contact for external Auditors and take full ownership of banking relationships, month-end, board reporting, treasury, cash flow, and company secretarial duties.
* Deliver balance sheet accuracy and oversee bank reconciliations and fixed asset register.
* Ensure VAT, Tax & RCT are always up to date on ROS.
* Manage insurance upkeep across property, motor, personal, and other areas, as well as fleet management and IT requirements.
Requirements:
* An accountancy qualification is essential, with experience in the construction sector preferred.
* Excellent communication skills are required, as this role will involve working with a variety of stakeholders, including Bankers, Auditors, Site foremen, and Project Managers.
* Experience of Work In Progress (WIP) reporting would be ideal, as each project is treated like its own entity.
* The successful candidate must be comfortable with a varied workload and willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
Remuneration:
Up to €90,000 per annum, plus bonus up to 15%, parking, pension, and health cover allowance. Annual leave of 24 days.
