About The Role:

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll team up with our Executive Chef to supervise and energize kitchen production, diving right into the action to create standout dishes. Reporting to the Executive Chef, your mission is to deliver food that’s not only top-quality and exciting, but also aligns with our cost management and profitability goals.

Minimum experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in the kitchen.
Minimum educational experience: National academic qualifications / Degree in Hospitality Management preferable.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the highest food quality appropriate to the market by assisting the Executive Chef in all areas of kitchen operations.
2. Adhere to Radisson Blu standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation.
3. Ensure proper staffing and adequate supplies for all stations.
4. Supervise the proper set-up of each item on menus and ensure their readiness.
5. Oversee the seasonings, portions, and appearance of food service in the operation.
6. Store unused food properly to minimize waste and maximize quality.
7. Assist in budgetary and payroll expense control as required.
8. Work closely with Chefs to ensure correct preparation and delivery times are kept and food quality is maintained.
9. Assure proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed.
10. Assist Executive Chef in checking and ordering fresh products and dry storage items required by kitchen.
11. Encourage increased communication between kitchen production and service staff.
12. Ensure readiness and make priorities in case of last-minute changes to reservations.
13. Confer closely and regularly with the Executive Chef and take every opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of their position, in order to be ready to fill in whenever required.

Nestled between some of the city’s most famous landmarks, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, our new establishment promises to enhance the culinary landscape of the area.
Our hotel offers a high level of product and service delivery with genuine Yes I Can! Hospitality. The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is contemporary in style and features 234 guest bedrooms, extensive meeting facilities, and luxurious amenities such as our Velvære Spa. Our current dining facilities include the Chancery Grill and the Dyflin Bar, known for their superb menus and stylish ambiance.
The new restaurant will continue this tradition of excellence, featuring a contemporary design with a capacity for 130 guests. It will offer our renowned breakfast buffet and an exceptional dining experience throughout the day and evening.
