The Role:
The Transaction Services teams within Uisce Éireann Business Services are responsible for providing an effective and efficient service to the Uisce Éireann business in relation to Finance, HR, and Payroll transactional activities, in addition to a number of reporting and compliance activities for the Business Services unit as a whole.
The Finance Transaction Services team within the Uisce Éireann is responsible for providing a consistent, effective and cohesive service to the Uisce Éireann business in relation to finance and accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, payments and finance compliance activities.
Reporting to the Business Services Performance and Assurance Analyst, the Performance, Assurance and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the operation of effective compliance activity for Supplier Bank Details and will assist in the consolidation of monthly and quarterly business performance reporting for Business Services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation and addition of supplier bank details on Oracle
Responsible for the compliance and governance of the Supplier Bank Details Process
Develop, implement and oversee to ensure sound and robust processes are in place to detect and identify fraud
Continually review and change processes as appropriate to ensure fraud detection and prevention is up to date
Responsible for all supplier bank compliance checks
Liaise and collaborate with relevant business areas in relation to supplier set up and bank payments
Support the coordination and consolidation of the monthly performance reporting packs for Business Services including KPIs and other relevant metrics
Support the planning and preparation of the annual Business Services Balanced Scorecard
Work closely with internal teams to enhance service delivery and service management, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency/effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable and or relevant experience
Min 1 years relevant experience in a similar role in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable
Proactive, with ability to work on own initiative and with others to ensure success in the performance of a team
Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused
Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages in a clear and concise manner
Strong Computer skills with a proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to set up ongoing processes and procedures to collect and review information
Flexible with regard to working in a changing environment and the ability to adjust to new work structures, processes and requirements as necessary
Proactively identifying new areas of learning and using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job
