Sales and Customer Service Manager

Responsibilities:
1. Report to the Senior Sales Manager and oversee all administrative duties carried out by the department.
2. Review and monitor budgeted accounts on a monthly basis.
3. Work with the Senior Sales Manager to forecast customers' anticipated spend for the year and produce budgeting information.
4. Investigate/analyse shortfalls in individual customer expenditure.
5. E nsure that the relationship and supply lines to all accounts remain positive and endeavour to expand where possible to increase the product range supplied.
6. Recruit, mentor and develop Internal Sales/Customer service co-ordinators and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
7. Manage, guide and oversee the Internal sales/customer service team to make sure that our customer service levels are operating to the highest standards.
8. Organise and monitor the daily workflow of the Department.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Correct lead time is achieved for as many orders as possible.
2. Orders are delivered on the agreed date – production plan to be monitored daily in conjunction with the planning department.
3. Handling Customer Complaints.
4. Stock levels for each customer are accurate and aged stock is delivered/invoiced to agreed system.
5. Sales enquiries are handled efficiently and quickly.
6. Ensure that once accurate costings are provided to the department the correct sales margins are achieved by each coordinator in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
7. All customer pricing matrix are kept accurate and updated on a regular basis.
8. Set up agreed turnaround times with the Pre-Production department and to ensure that all designs are approved as quickly as possible.
9. Each individual coordinator to be responsible for designs for their own customers.
10. Ensure that every design is invoiced and that a list of inactive specs, where plates can be destroyed is sent to the pre-production department to action on a regular basis.
11. To produce a daily sales report of the orders taken/value and to issue a brief synopsis to the Internal Sales/Customer service and external sales team of all the key events in the week.
12. Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports.
13. To ensure that coordinators are identifying any areas with existing customers where there is opportunity for growth and to discuss with the External Sales Team.
14. To manage and motivate the Internal Sales/Customer service team and to supervise and evaluate their performance on a daily basis.
15. To review and evaluate personnel performance in terms of quality, quantity, housekeeping, hygiene, attitude, behaviour, and flexibility. To correct deficiencies through training, motivation and if necessary, the disciplinary procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
16. Undertake annual appraisals for all members of the Internal Sales/Customer service Team.
17. To make sure that all staff are adequately trained to perform effectively and safely.
18. Continually work towards improvements to sales systems and procedures.
19. To ensure that the Team Leader/s can deputise in daily tasks in absence of the Manager.
20. Work as part of a team, support colleagues and share information.
21. Work on government and company equal opportunities policies and practices and report any deviations.
Criteria:

* Flexibility is required in undertaking duties and responsibilities, with occasional travel to/from customer sites, trade shows and training seminars.

* Part hybrid option may be available after a qualifying period.
* Salary: €50-€55K PA.
