Merchandising Sales Executive Dublin HQ/ North East Region (Field Based) Attractive Package including Car & Bonus Our client, a renowned manufacturer of products for the building trade, is seeking a proactive Merchandising Sales Executive to join their Retail Sales Division. Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales, the Merchandising Sales Executive will play a key role in merchandising, training, and driving sales within large retail outlets across North East Ireland and parts of Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of presentation, customer engagement, and product knowledge, working closely with retail partners to optimise sales performance. This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in the construction/ manufacturing/ industrial retail industry. Key Responsibilities: Visit assigned retail outlets to maintain and optimise merchandising standards, ensuring product displays are attractive and in line with company guidelines. Conduct training sessions for retail staff on product features, benefits, and usage, equipping them with the knowledge to assist customers effectively. Drive sales by building strong relationships with retail partners, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products. Manage stock levels and replenishment to ensure product availability and minimise out-of-stock situations. Gather market insights, including competitor activity, customer preferences, and sales trends. Prepare and submit sales and activity reports, tracking performance against targets. Your skills: 2+ years proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in the construction, manufacturing or industrial retail industries. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate retail staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent organisational skills, including time management and planning. A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven attitude. A full driving licence.
