Conference & Banqueting Manager – Busy City Centre Hotel
We are looking for an experienced and talented Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of functions & events, ensuring exceptional service delivery, seamless event execution, and high guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the coordination and management of conferences, banquets, meetings, and other special events hosted at the hotel.
2. Work with clients to understand their needs and expectations, advising on room layouts, AV requirements, catering, and other event details.
3. Oversee event planning, ensuring that all logistics and schedules are followed.
4. Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and guests to ensure their event needs are met.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after their event.
6. Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and build long-term relationships for repeat business.
7. Manage and train the conference and banqueting team, ensuring staff are motivated, well-trained, and provide excellent service.
Candidate Requirements:
1. 1+ years experience as C&B Manager or Events Manager.
2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
5. Knowledge of event planning software, hotel management systems, and MS Office Suite.
6. Client-focused with a strong attention to detail.
Salary Guide: €40k - €45k
