Safety Direct is a leading distributor of PPE, safety, and industrial products, supplying over 90,000 products to customers nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive for the Munster region. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong team player to join a dynamic and fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
1. Develop business relationships with new and existing customers
2. Manage Key Accounts by delivering an excellent customer experience
3. Increase business through focused market segmentation and targeting
4. Advise customers on the technical benefits of our products
5. Meet personal and team sales targets
6. Research opportunities and generate or follow through on sales leads
7. Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
8. Provide reports and territory analysis to management
9. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory on CRM
10. Develop and maintain a robust knowledge of the product portfolio
11. Work closely with internal colleagues as part of a cross-functional team
12. All other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience
1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
2. 3rd level qualification: degree or equivalent is an advantage
3. Track record of over-achieving targets
4. Experience working with CRM packages
5. Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
6. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
7. Self-motivated and driven
8. The ability to multitask and to ensure projects are carried out to a high standard
9. Identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities
10. Confidence to discuss the benefits and features of our products
11. Good communication, organisational and administration skills
12. Flexible and pro-active attitude
13. Ability to embrace new ideas / initiatives when they arise
