Job Summary:
A Welding Documentation Administrator is sought by an industry leading process systems engineering company in the Pharma/Biopharma sector to join their team in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete and check welding documentation in the skids workshop prior to inclusion in the turnover pack to the customer
* Ensure accurate completion of hygienic and non-hygienic weld logs
* Conduct continuous inspections of material heat numbers to match weld logs
* Verify all data imported into the weld logs
* Schedule NDT company for boroscoping and X-ray
* Calculate NDT requirements based on code and business needs
* Prepare requisition forms for NDT testing
* Review NDT reports for accuracy and completeness
* Input NDT report data into weld logs
* Update isometrics
* Monitor punch closure for assigned systems
* Perform inspections on piping to ensure correct supports are installed as per isometric
Requirements:
* Knowledge of hygienic and non-hygienic systems
* Experience with piping isometrics and welding data (preferable but not essential)
* Proficiency in computers and scanning systems
* Ability to work flexible hours if required
* Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in MS Office
* Minimum of 3 years of line walking experience
* Ability to read and interpret specifications, regulations, codes, and other material pertinent to the project
