The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As EMEA Treasurer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of treasury, ensuring the efficient and effective management of cash flow, liquidity, cash pooling, financial risks (e.g. FX), and other financial transactions. This individual will work closely with Corporate Treasury leadership and cross-functional teams to drive treasury excellence, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall financial success of the Treasury function.
Here you will make an impact by:
1. Responsibility for international cash liquidity strategy; driving efficiency in cash management by ensuring maximum use of Solventum in-house bank central pooling of excess cash and intercompany borrowing for cash needs.
2. Leading the continuing transformation of Solventum’s international in-house bank, identifying best practices, and designing and implementing a structure that promotes and optimizes value creation.
3. Partnering with peers around the world to develop and implement strategies on subsidiary repatriation, accelerated intercompany cash flows, M&A, legal entity structuring, and leveraging marketplace treasury innovations.
4. Supervising and developing a diverse and inclusive high performing team across multiple workstreams such as daily cash forecasting and positioning, intercompany in-house banking and payment netting processes, and settlement and analysis of financial market transactions.
5. Maintaining and cultivating bank relationships with Solventum’s core bank group in the region; driving bank rationalization in alignment with global strategy; managing and allocating bank credit lines for the region in consultation with Capital Market’s Leader.
Your Skills and Expertise
1. Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
2. Eight years of combined experience in Finance or Treasury in a private, public, government, or military environment; minimum of five years of Treasury experience.
3. Experience leading and managing a team.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
1. Experience leading transformation, change and process optimization, knowledge of LEAN management principles.
2. Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
3. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous problems.
4. Experience leveraging a Treasury Management System; Kyriba, SAP or other.
5. Advanced education or certification such as MBA, CTP, CFA, or ACT.
6. Experience collaborating with multiple functions and countries; ability to influence divergent positions into a common standard.
7. Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
8. Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex problem solving.
Work location:
1. Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Dublin office at least 3 days per week)
2. Onsite DSC
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
