Acumen Aviation is looking to recruit an experienced CAMO engineer to manage transition aircraft for the worlds leasing community. We require a professional who can manage an aircraft transition project from induction to delivery to the next operator, ensuring all regulatory and airworthiness requirements are met to ensure a safe and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Manage aircraft transitions for aircraft leasing companies from the CAMO perspective.
2. Perform duties to the standards required by EASA Parts M and CAMO, 2-REG GAR Part 39 and BCAA/CICAA OTAR Part 39.
3. Perform and document assessments of NAA issued Airworthiness or Safety related documents.
4. Perform and document assessments of OEM documents.
5. Induction and transition of Aircraft into and out of the Acumen Aviation CAMO Aircraft Management system.
6. Generate aircraft, engine and component status reports and Delivery Suite of Documentation for aircraft under Acumen Aviation CAMO Management.
7. Generate Work Orders or instructions to ensure that all aircraft under Acumen Aviation CAMO Management remain in an airworthy condition and to meet Customer requirements.
8. Management and control of all aircraft under Acumen Aviation CAMO Management Continuing Airworthiness Records.
9. Liaising with Customers and their representatives to ensure all allocated Projects are progressed in a professional and timely manner.
10. Participate in Safety Management meetings and projects as directed by management.
11. Preparation, submittal and management of the owner/operator aircraft maintenance programs and its amendments to the National Aviation Authority of aircraft registration for approval and providing a copy of the programs to the owner/aircraft leasing company.
12. Ensuring that owners/aircraft leasing company technical records are kept as required by Part M.A.305.
13. Ensuring that modifications and repairs are carried out to an approved standard.
14. To coordinate scheduled maintenance, the application of airworthiness directives, the replacement of life limited parts and time-controlled components as well component inspection to ensure the work is carried out to the approved standard.
15. All maintenance is carried out on time and to an approved standard.
16. Identify components for repair and overhaul.
Education/Experience:
1. Basic Engineering Qualification such as a Technical Degree (e.g. B.Eng., B.Sc.), EASA Part 66 Qualifications or equivalent.
2. 05 years’ relevant work experience of which at least 02 years should be from the aeronautical industry in a Continuing Airworthiness related position.
3. EASA SMS/ HF, FTS and EWIS training requirements that have been completed in the last 02 years.
4. A relevant sample of aircraft Part 66 Appendix III Level 1 General Familiarization Training.
5. Excellent Technical English.
