Post Summary:
The Estates & Facilities department is undertaking the ‘digital transformation’ of the estate with digital systems enabling a step change in ensuring efficient and sustainable use of resources, a high standard of customer service, effective project delivery, compliance with Government Policy and a safe and compliant estate.
The BIM manager will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of an Estates Information & Systems Strategy with a scalable methodology that can be applied across all areas of the University’s estate reflecting industry best standards whilst improving accessibility and usability of building information.
This is a crucial role within the Estates & Facilities Department (E&F) with the opportunity to make a real impact to the digitisation of the estate service delivery across our operations, through the design and implementation of robust and effective CAFM and integrated building information systems. The role will be required to enhance interoperability across legacy, new, and future systems and advance digital information management.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3) Salary Scale (€68,181 - €88,201 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
