THE ROLE:
As a Revit Technician, you will work closely with our high-profile client base to produce detailed Revit drawings for fire protection sprinkler systems. You will assist the design team in creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work, ensuring that all drawings adhere to the highest quality standards and procedures. You will also assist in updating and revising drawings based on feedback from the Operations and Installation teams. This role involves maintaining project documentation and supporting the team in meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. At least 2 years of experience in a Revit Technician role or a similar position in Engineering.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
3. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Positive attitude to learning and wanting to improve.
5. Ability to work to defined procedures and coach others in standardising Design.
6. Relevant qualification in Revit or Engineering (e.g., Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline).
7. Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills.
8. Fluent in English.
9. Ability to work under pressure, to project deadlines, while maintaining adherence to process disciplines.
10. Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
11. Ability to commute.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design fire protection sprinkler systems for high-profile clients.
2. Produce REVIT drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work.
3. Ensure that standards are adhered to and that drawings produced are of the highest quality, all in accordance with Q.A. procedures.
4. Creating Hydraulic Calculations using industry-approved software.
5. Planning project programs/scheduling.
6. Preparing submittals.
7. Work closely with the Operations and Installation teams to communicate, problem solve and update drawings for all coordination and design issues.
Hours: Minimum working week is based on 37 hours (9:00am to 5:30pm – Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 3:45pm- Friday)
