ITIL Service Management Consultant
My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a ServiceNow Consultant to join a growing team. This is a permanent role working on a hybrid model. The ServiceNow / ITIL Consultant will support the implementation and optimisation of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks. The role will involve working closely with clients across multiple industries to drive IT transformation and align IT services with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
* Implement and configure ITSM solutions, with a focus on ServiceNow.
* Provide expertise in IT Service Management, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
* Collaborate with clients to assess current ITSM capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
* Design and deliver ITSM strategies and roadmaps to enhance operational efficiency.
* Lead and contribute to large-scale IT transformation projects, working alongside client and internal teams.
* Provide training and guidance on ITIL principles to stakeholders at various levels.
* Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into IT service solutions.
* Manage teams comprising client employees, contractors, and strategic partners.
* Ensure ITSM solutions are scalable, agile, and aligned with industry best practices.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ITSM market trends and competing platforms.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 3+ years experience implementing ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
* Strong technical and functional expertise in IT Service Management.
* Experience in large-scale technical transformation projects or systems integration.
* Background in consulting or professional services, working in a client-facing capacity.
* Proven experience in aligning business and IT objectives across complex environments.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
* ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Architect.
* Experience working in a matrix-managed organisation.
* Track record of delivering within multiple large-scale ITSM projects.
Educational Requirements:
* A third-level degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Relevant ITIL and ServiceNow certifications preferred.
