Geospatial Engineer
The Geospatial Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing geospatial technologies and applications. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information to support various projects and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
1. Geospatial surveying tasks (site control setup, management, 3d laser scanning, verification etc….
2. Geospatial engineering (Site training of engineers on using geospatial technology)
3. Geospatial Innovation (Working with the engineering team in implementing new tech to use on sites)
Requirements
4. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geospatial Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
5. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in geospatial analysis, GIS development, or a related field.
6. Relevant certifications in GIS, remote sensing, or related areas are advantageous (e.g., GISP, ESRI Certification).
