Job Title: Sales Business Partner
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and sales-savvy individual to join our sales team as a Sales Business Partner. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with senior sales leadership by providing insights and owning projects that improve our operational efficiency.
The Sales Business Partner will be entrusted with key responsibilities such as quota management, account coverage and capacity planning, territory planning, hiring strategy, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will use their analytical acumen to discover and communicate trends about the business, while ensuring the sales organization is positioned for optimal performance.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Partner with regional Sales leaders to drive business success by taking a data-driven approach to provide insights and support future strategic decisions based on analytics.
2. Responsible for overseeing quota management, territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, resource allocation, quarterly business reviews, and GTM Planning.
3. In conjunction with sales leadership, define, manage, and provide insights on Key Performance Indicators to monitor the health of the business.
4. Identify and analyze trends to help support business decisions.
5. Become a subject matter expert and provide data-driven recommendations on Sales Policies which include Sales Segmentation and Regional definitions, Organizational structure, Sales Commission Terms and Conditions, and the Global Rules of Engagement.
6. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to transform and streamline processes to drive improved sales productivity and velocity through process improvement, tooling, and dashboards.
7. Understand how business information is interrelated based on the underlying data model with an emphasis on Salesforce.com.
8. Present and translate complex information in relevant business terms.
9. Execute root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement of our workflow processes and data infrastructure.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record in a similar role in the Information technology field.
2. Understanding of Salesforce-specific data modeling concepts.
3. Proficient in general Go-to-Market (GTM) principles and strategies.
4. 3+ years of experience in customer success, sales, or a related field.
5. Keen understanding of Salesforce.com usage and data, with an emphasis on forecasting, pipeline tracking, reporting, and analytics.
6. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
8. Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and formal presentation.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
12. Strong customer service orientation.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with Cloud hyper scalers AWS, GCP, and Azure.
