Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
About Your New Job
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for:
* Conducting regular warehouse walkthroughs to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal SOPs.
* Completing scanning, address reports, and resolving discrepancies.
* Supervising the night shift team and coordinating loading activities.
* Assigning tasks based on workload and priorities.
* Monitoring team performance and providing guidance to optimize efficiency.
* Ensuring proper handling and secure loading of goods to prevent damage.
* Verifying loaded goods against shipping documents and resolving discrepancies.
* Communicating with warehouse, transportation, and logistics teams to address concerns.
You will work closely with other shifts to ensure seamless operations and smooth handovers. Your attention to detail and ability to implement corrective actions will be crucial in enhancing efficiency and quality.
What Skill/Experience You Need
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a warehousing/transportation environment.
* Essential experience with HGVs.
