The Transport Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing bus service plans and general transport planning within a team embedded with the Client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Planning: Develop and implement bus service plans, including route design, scheduling, and frequency adjustments.
* Data Analysis: Analyse ridership data, traffic patterns, and demographic information to inform service planning decisions.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure that bus services meet community needs.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of bus services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
* Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and integrate sustainable practices into bus service planning, including the use of eco-friendly vehicles and technologies.
* Public Engagement: Conduct public consultations and surveys to gather feedback on bus services and incorporate community input into planning processes.
* Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on bus service performance and planning initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
