Our client, a highly respected and expanding Building Contractor, is seeking experienced Senior Site Engineers to join their growing team in the Leinster region.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale Commercial and Manufacturing facilities across Ireland.
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site engineering operations, ensuring technical accuracy, quality standards, and health & safety compliance are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
Youll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and site management to drive projects forward safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities Set out and oversee all site engineering aspects of the project, ensuring accuracy in line, level, and quality.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents for site teams and subcontractors.
Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager in coordinating daily site activities.
Manage and supervise site works, ensuring compliance with project programmes, quality plans, and health & safety regulations.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
Ensure all technical information is current and distributed correctly on site.
Carry out inspections, record keeping, and site reports in line with company procedures.
Provide technical advice and solutions to on-site challenges.
Manage and maintain site records, including materials, measurements, and progress.
Support in quality control and handover documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation.
Key Requirements A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years site engineering experience, preferably with a main contractor.
Strong technical knowledge of building structures, groundworks, and reinforced concrete.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary site teams.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements in a construction setting.
Proficiency with setting out equipment and engineering software (e.g.
Auto CAD, Total Station, GPS systems).
Full clean driving licence.
