Orthopaedic Sales Specialist - Recon & Mako
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Orthopaedic Sales Specialist to promote and sell our innovative joint replacement products to orthopaedic surgeons, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
* Provide technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Outcomes:
1. Complete Orthopaedic Recon Stryker portfolio management in assigned accounts.
2. Mainly work in the Operating Theatre environment.
3. Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries.
4. Develop lasting business partnerships with key customers.
5. Achieve sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
6. Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
7. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential through customer contact.
8. Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
9. Attend relevant conferences and meetings both in Ireland and internationally.
Minimum Requirements:
* A Technical Qualification and aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.
* A minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or technology service in the hospital environment.
* Ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
* Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
* High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skills.
* Good administrative and computing skills.
* Commercially aware, able to manage a complex business.
* Self-motivated and a team player.
