Position: Medical Device Process Technician
Location: Swords, Co Dublin
Cpl have been asked to support our client, a global leader and heritage brand in the manufacture of medical device products and technologies for over 125 years. The company specializes in the healthcare industry, producing unique and market-leading image-guided therapy equipment and cancer care products.
As their plant in Dublin undergoes significant expansion in 2025, they are looking to recruit several Manufacturing Process Technicians for their 2-cycle shift operation in Swords.
Shift Patterns:
1. Days: 7am to 3pm (Monday to Friday)
2. Evenings: 3pm to 11pm (Monday to Friday)
This is an initial 23-month fixed-term contract with the company, offering a market-leading salary, bonus, pension, healthcare, and overtime. These positions are direct staff employment contracts with a planned start date of early to mid-January/February 2025.
The successful Manufacturing Technician will have the opportunity to join a team of high-performing manufacturing professionals, receiving support necessary for a rewarding and challenging career in the medical equipment and services industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain focus under pressure while being flexible in tasks.
2. Resolve problems quickly and efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
3. Work independently and on initiative.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 2 years of high-volume manufacturing experience.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Proven multitasking ability and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience in Medical Device, Pharma, or another GMP environment is highly preferable.
5. Consideration will be given to candidates from FMCG, Food & Beverage manufacturing, Chemical production, or Semiconductor industries.
6. A team player attitude is essential.
