Tax Manager - EMEA
11 months (maternity leave cover – no extension available)
Hybrid model - 3 days in Dublin office
Purpose of the role : Managing multiple tax audits across EMEA. Identifying issues and propose solutions. You will be part of the International Tax (EMEA) team dealing with controversies.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the EMEA tax team and the wider international finance team to manage tax controversy in EMEA including:
2. Responding to RFIs by collating information from finance and business sources
3. Working with external advisors to manage controversy strategy
4. Collaborating with wider tax team on controversy matters
5. Supporting finance team relating to accounting implications of tax controversy matters
6. Support various tax matters relating to company’s international operating structure, including transfer pricing documentation, withholding tax obligations, tax controls and reviews of activities and operations to ensure compliance with operational goals as required
7. Support International Tax compliance teams with various initiatives as required
Requirements:
8. Minimum 7 years’ experience in Tax Management
9. Person must be on a manager level for 1-2 years minimum
10. Relevant experience in international tax experience in Big 4, Tech, Pharma or Consumer Production industry in EMEA
11. Corporate tax knowledge is a must
12. Transfer pricing experience
13. University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax, law or accounting preferred
14. Strong international tax knowledge and familiarity of tax issues for a multinational company
15. Strong analytical, documentation, research and project management skills
16. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
17. Strong excel skills
18. Hands-on, independent, able to multitask and prioritise
