Our Client is a leading Midlands-based Construction Main Contractor with an annual turnover of €125 million.
The company has numerous live projects in the Laois, Kildare, and Tipperary regions, offering continuity of work.
They are involved in various projects, including public works, sports facilities, commercial buildings, and residential developments, making them one of the fastest-growing Main Contractors in the country.
We are seeking experienced Site Engineers/Senior Site Engineers with extensive setting-out experience using Total Stations in Ireland.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for producing As-Built drawings and other technical documents for submittals to Irish Water, ESB, and Local Authorities.
Main responsibilities include:
* Working closely with on-site and off-site management teams to set out the project.
* Supervising Setting-Out Engineers and managing day-to-day site operations.
* Checking plans and drawings for accuracy and verifying shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours.
* Liaising with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure program targets are met or exceeded where possible.
* Ordering materials, plant, and maintaining reconciliation files.
* Developing solutions to problems as needed.
* Overseeing quality control, BCAR, and health and safety on site.
* Maintaining materials reconciliation files.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer.
- Experience using setting out equipment, such as Total Station, GPS, and laser levels.
- Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
