Job Description
A key role has become available for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our client's Limerick-based Wholesale Food Distribution Company on a permanent basis. This challenging position requires flexibility, hard work, and strong people-management skills, as well as IT experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage warehouse and delivery processes across the site.
* Support management in monitoring performance standards and implementing improvements.
* Maintain facility hygiene and safety standards.
* Oversee health and safety, incident reporting, and investigation.
* Ensure security procedures are adhered to.
* Maintain and properly use all equipment and material handling equipment (MHE).
Requirements:
* Knowledge of various roles, including drivers, shunters, trunkers, loaders, selectors, receiving personnel, and forklift operators.
* Excellent understanding of internal transport and compliance procedures, as well as Department of Transport regulations (Tachograph legislation, Working Time Directive, etc.).
* Flexibility regarding working hours, start and finish times, which will depend on business needs.
* Ability to work independently.
* Security consciousness.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Strong people skills, including communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent English written and spoken.
