Site Engineer Role:
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team for an exciting renewable energy project in Tipperary. As part of Ireland's leading Civils Contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and managing engineering aspects of the project.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of work.
* Regularly check the setting out points, benchmarks, and calibration of instruments and measuring equipment being used.
* Carry out as-built surveys and records of completed works.
* Management of Health, Safety & Environment matters within areas of direct responsibility.
* Assist in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing, workmanship, and materials.
* Provide Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries answered.
* Complete daily diary sheets and photographic evidence as required.
* Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of site management, safety regulations, and surveying.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
