HR Generalist - Talent & People Operations
Job Description
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate HR Generalist to play a key role in both recruitment and generalist HR functions within our regulated financial service environment. This role is an integral part of our company's success that will drive talent acquisition strategies while supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and industry regulations. You will influence hiring decisions at an early stage and your goal will be to attract the best talent in the market. You will be a trusted partner to candidates as you work to build a personal and friendly experience that is representative of our brand. This role will also include People Operational activities, and the role holder will be responsible for assisting the HR team in areas such as onboarding, employee relations, Fitness & Probity requirements and project work.
Key Requirements
Qualification & Experience
* Experienced HR professional with a strong focus on recruitment and generalist HR functions
* HR Degree or CIPD qualified or related field
* Experience working with Graduate and Intern recruitment is an advantage
* Experience of working in financial services sector, preferably in a regulated business
* Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, MS Office combined with general proficiency in IT systems including Oracle HCM (Journeys), absent management system and Performance Management systems a benefit.
* Outstanding sourcing and talent research skills, experience sourcing technical and sales roles is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of an integrated team

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
* Work closely with our senior management teams to fully understand their hiring needs.
* Lead end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding
* Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements that align with regulatory requirements including Fitness & Probity assessments
* Lead on early careers programmes to form relationships with universities and be responsible for the Company's intern and graduate programmes
* Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talents by actively promoting Cantor Fitzgerald
* Keep candidates informed with quality communications throughout the interview process ensuring all receive an excellent recruitment experience
* Provide timely reporting of recruiting metrics and insights to drive decisions and improve processes
* Assist in salary benchmarking, benefit administration and HR reporting.
* Working with Global Head of Talent and Group TA teams on Oracle projects including ATS, Onboarding and LinkedIn systems.
HR Operations & Compliance
* Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process in line with company and compliance requirements, including Fitness & Probity.
* Line Manager support, coaching and development in the area of people management for designated teams/divisions.
* Support induction programs for new hires and relevant training plans for employees in collaboration with the relevant heads of department and in line with Compliance function requirements and consistent with group policy
* Maintain accurate HR records including contracts, family leave applications and benefit administration through various HR systems.
* Contribute to HR strategy initiatives
