Responsibilities:
* Support New Product Introductions and engineering design changes to optimize part design, manufacturing technology, and supplier selection.
* Promote supplier innovation and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) through Early Supplier Involvement (ESI).
* Lead competitive RfQ exercises to identify cost-effective sources based on commodity strategies.
* Implement supplier changes to reduce risks, cut costs, and improve performance globally.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (or relevant experience in Procurement, Business, or Supply Chain).
* 3+ years of experience in a Procurement/Technical role, preferably in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
* Knowledge of ESI, DfMA, DtC, VE, and Engineering Change management.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and conclude supplier agreements.
Skills & Attributes:
* Ability to combine technical expertise with commercial and supply chain knowledge.
* Understanding of supplier manufacturing technologies (e.g., metal fabrication, plastic molding, PCBA, cables, optics).
* Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
* Team player with the ability to build influential relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
