BIM Engineer
We are seeking a Bim Coordinator to join our Life Science Division in Limerick.
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing the digital representation of the building project, ensuring that all BIM-related activities are carried out effectively and efficiently. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate models, perform clash detection, and ensure the accuracy and quality of the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle
Responsibilities:
1. Model Coordination aggregate and coordinate multiple discipline-specific BIM models.
2. Facilitate regular BIM coordination meetings to review models and address issues.
3. Perform clash detection and resolution using software tools like Navisworks.
4. Work closely with project stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors) to ensure effective collaboration.
5. Communicate BIM standards and protocols to the project team.
6. Provide technical support and guidance on BIM processes and best practices.
7. Ensure that BIM models comply with project standards and industry best practices.
8. Conduct regular quality checks and audits on the BIM models.
9. Manage and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
10. Produce detailed construction documents and reports from the coordinated BIM models.
11. Maintain accurate records of BIM-related activities and decisions.
12. Generate and distribute clash reports and other relevant documentation.
13. Assist the BIM Manager/Project Manager in developing project schedules and timelines.
14. Monitor the progress of BIM-related tasks and ensure timely completion.
15. Participate in project planning and strategy sessions.
Requirements:
16. Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
17. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination or a related role.
18. Proven experience with BIM software tools, particularly Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
19. Experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
20. Experience in sofwares such as, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Synchro, Revit, Bentley, ArchiCAD, Solibri, Mudshark, CostX, Design Review, Asta Power Project, BIM360 Field, BIM 360 Glue, BIM360 Layout, 4Project
21. Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe professional.
