Maintenance, repair and development all mill dept. equipment and systems to comply with relevant electrical and automation standards, including all required calibrations and documentation.Perform maintenance tasks for new and existing equipment and systems as directed and/or scheduled.Facilitate transfer of information relating to electrical maintenance, use online systems where provided.Participation in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance routines and systems as directed. Ensure 5S, housekeeping and cleaning of all own work areas.Comply with staffing requirements (holiday booking), and start and end shifts at appointed times. Attend shift start / end meetings and other workplace meetings as required.Work with new systems, equipment and maintain knowledge of new technology. knowledge to date with changes in technology.Attend and participate in training and development courses as requiredOther duties as determined by immediate supervisorExperience and Qualifications:A qualified Electrical/ Instrumentation craftsperson (QQI Level 6 Craft Qualification) coupled with experience in instrumentation and automationKnowledge of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems including HV, control systems, Scada systems etc. Previous knowledge in maintenance management systems (Maximo) software.Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives would be beneficial.Skills and Capabilities:Organisational and strategic thinking skillsStrong interpersonal skills.Ability to create and maintain an inclusive cultureGood communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skillsEffective team player along with the ability to work under one’s own initiative.The candidate must have the ability to promote the Boliden Core Values in all aspects of their role.
