Post Title: Fire EngineerPost Status: Permanent full timeDepartment Technical ServicesLocation: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: Technical Services ManagerSalary:Appointment will be made on salary scale (€79,847 - €96,305) at a point in line with Government pay policy.Hours of work: Full-Time 35 hours Closing Date: 12 Noon on 14th of February 2025 Position Summary: Beaumont Hospital is going through major upgrading of its life safety and fire safety passive and active systems across the campus and has significant future development plans. It is envisaged that the successful candidate in this role will be able to make a significant contribution to the future of the hospital for many years to come. We currently seek a Senior Fire Engineer to be responsible for developing and delivering effective innovative fire engineering solutions for various existing and new building types on our campus to meet our fire quality standards. This opportunity for the right candidate will develop their experience in a dynamic fast paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have ownership of all fire safety implementation programs and projects and become the primary go to fire safety person within the hospital. This is an ideal role for someone working towards Chartership which will be fully supported by the hospital management team. This role is perfectly structured for someone looking at developing their management skills in a technical capacity whilst working as part of the senior management team within the technical services department.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manage your own projects being supported by the wider team as necessaryto deliver quality fire safety solutions on time and on budgetWork on a diverse, exciting and range of projects from conceptual fire strategy development through to handing over landmark projects in the built environment. • Manage others in the development and implementation of fire strategies, projects, and research initiatives
Qualifications
