Job Description:
Overview: We now wish to recruit a Mechanical/Process Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects at a client site (Pharma sector). The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.
Responsibilities
1. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients
2. Effectively communicating with both internal & external stakeholders
3. Supporting Site Plant activity across a variety of projects and needs; maintenance, utilities, production etc.
4. Responsible for projects technical and commercial delivery
5. Develop project scope requirements
6. Develop & implement appropriate project execution strategy
7. Establish project resource requirements and lead/motivate the project team
8. Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
9. Manage development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals
10. Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
11. Liaise with Senior management with regular project performance status
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Project Management of capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning
2. An excellent record in Health & Safety.
3. A third level degree is preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar
4. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding/experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle.
5. An advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally)
