Role Overview
This is an opportunity to join our Operational Oversight team in Client Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial instrument reconciliations, calculations, and reports within regulatory timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare all Financial Instrument Reconciliations (Stock).
2. Prepare all Financial Instrument Calculations (Stock).
3. Ensure timely completion of these tasks within required regulatory timeframes.
4. Report and escalate issues arising from reconciliations and calculations.
5. Implement and maintain operational processes and internal controls.
6. Complete and receive Client Services operational reconciliations per agreed schedules/timelines.
7. Report open/aged items on these reconciliations to management.
8. Monitor Figaro settlement-related reconciliations as defined by management.
9. Process and follow-up queries from settlement-related teams.
10. Report performance issues to management.
11. Serve as the point of contact for internal/external auditors and regulators.
12. Produce comprehensive Management Information for Client Services.
13. Develop and monitor Management Information and Control Reporting mechanisms.
14. Perform ad-hoc reconciliations as needed.
15. Comply with Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures associated with the role.
About You
We're looking for someone with a strong background and skills in the following areas:
* A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the financial services sector.
* Solid reconciliation and control background.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Confidence in dealing with peers and other teams.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience working under tight deadlines.
* Strong processing skills and an eye for detail.
* A proven track record as a strong team player.
* A commitment to excellent customer service with a focus on risk culture and framework.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
* A highly motivated and progressive individual with a desire to improve efficiency.
