About the Role:
The HR Officer will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality HR services, working closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all HR-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and existing employees.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, providing expert guidance to staff and management on various HR matters.
• Support training and development programs designed to foster growth and talent within the organization.
• Efficiently manage the offboarding process, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide advice on HR policies, terms & conditions, and employment matters to guarantee adherence to best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to policy development and process improvements, utilizing HR knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with regular reporting, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Requirements:
• Possession of a CIPD qualification (or progression towards it) along with solid knowledge of NI employment legislation.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced sector (3+ years), preferably manufacturing, construction, or engineering.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and provide confident, informed HR advice.
