We are currently seeking highly-motivated Community Connector's to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, Limerick.
Contract Type: 2 x Part Time Permanent Contracts
Contract Hours: 30 Hours per week
Salary Scale: €32,639 to €39,499 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post: The Strive project aims to support 5 service owners with a physical disability to move from their current living arrangements to new homes in the community.
Reporting to the Strive Project Team Lead, the Community Connector will be an integral component of the transition group team.
This team will be focused on delivering key outcomes for individuals specifically in the areas of independent living and personal development.
The community connector will work with the service owners to support to enable them to build a lifestyle and live their life as part of their chosen community.
In order to facilitate this evening and weekend work will be required and this contract will be over a seven-day roster.

The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria: Minimum qualification QQI Level5 Certificate in Social Care, or relevant heath related area, or Year 1 of a relevant degree programme (such as Social Care, Child Care, Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychology) Minimum of one years' experience working with adults with disabilities Experience working in the disability sector acting as a keyworker and driving Person Centred Plans for adults with disabilities. Hold a full clean drivers licence with no restrictions and be willing to drive Enable Ireland vehicles. Desirable Criteria: Up to date First Aid / Patient Manual Handling Experience using assistive technology and AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) Experience of designing and facilitating training programmes In the event of a high volume of applicants Desirable Criteria may be applied in the short listing process If you believe you would fit the role then please submit your application today.
