The Leonardo Hotel Group are a leading hotel company with 57 hotels across the UK and Ireland and 250+ hotels worldwide. The UK and Ireland Marketing team based in Dublin is seeking a talented Digital Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team.
The portfolio includes a diverse range of hotels including the Grand Hotel in Brighton, The Dilly on London's Piccadilly, and 36 Leonardo Hotels in cities such as Dublin, Edinburgh, and London to name a few.
The Digital Marketing Executive will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, driving direct web revenue, growing brand awareness, and maximizing revenue through strategic digital marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be ROI driven, passionate about digital marketing, have experience in managing digital agencies, and will possess a creative flair. They will have experience managing successful Google Ads, paid social, and offline advertising campaigns.
They should be agile and able to work in tandem with the social media and website content teams across all divisions.
Responsibilities:
1. In conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager, develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
2. Work with an agency to plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase website traffic, generate leads, and drive conversions.
3. Manage and optimize Paid Social Ads across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to effectively target key demographics and achieve campaign objectives.
4. Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform digital marketing campaigns and maximize ROI.
5. Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and generate insightful reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Design, Print, Sales) to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with overall business objectives.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
8. Conduct copywriting for various digital marketing channels, including website copy, email campaigns, ad copy, and landing pages.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience (2+ years) in digital marketing roles, with a focus on Google Ads, Paid Social Ads, social media management, and copywriting.
3. Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to achieve measurable results.
4. Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Canva, and other digital marketing tools and platforms.
5. Strong creative and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
8. A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
9. Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred but not required).
