Building Staff Solutions (BSS) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work in the Wexford Office for our client, an expanding firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors.

What you have to do
* Preparation of cost plans/ budget estimates
* Value engineering (identifying risks and opportunities)
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities
* Tender review and evaluation
* Assessing Interim valuation payments
* Negotiating and agreeing variations
* Cost Reporting
* Final account settlement
* Reporting to key stakeholders
What you need to have
* Minimum of degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar
* Preferably hold professional membership to SCSI or RICS
* A minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience within a cost consultancy environment
* Ambitious and committed to delivering an excellent standard of work
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
* Good reporting and communication skills
* Experience compiling contract documentation, reports, valuations and claims
* Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team environment
* MUST hold eligibility to work in Ireland
