Our client is a facilities management company managing several contracts within the mid-west region. They are seeking to recruit someone in the Limerick / Shannon region due to continued contract growth with a prestigious long-term client. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled facilities technician who is electrically qualified. The technician will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all elements of reactive and planned maintenance on the contract.
Your new job as Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
This role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
1. Fault-finding of electrical systems.
2. Delivery of all planned maintenance in line with the contract.
3. Delivery of all reactive maintenance in line with the contract.
4. Ensure all KPIs / SLAs are met in line with the contract.
5. Implementation of self-performing maintenance tasks through the CMMS/CAFM system.
6. Management of third-party maintenance contracts.
7. Implementation of reactive maintenance as required, including response to management and closure of tickets through the client’s online ticket system.
8. Devise preventative measures to avoid equipment breakdown and maintain business continuity.
9. Creation and maintenance of asset lists and historical records.
10. Research & development of proposals to improve the performance of electrical systems.
11. Review of third-party risk assessments and methods statements and awarding of permits through the permitting system.
12. Management of on-site minor works projects.
13. Attendance to assist project teams on large scale refurbishments, fit outs, or new builds associated with the contract.
14. Attendance at client meetings when required by the Contract Manager.
15. Maintenance and upkeep of the plant areas.
16. Completion of weekly building walk-throughs to identify electrical issues needing attention.
17. Electrical cover of some bank holidays (on a Rota basis within the team).
18. Innovate, lead from the front, and drive value and efficiencies.

Requirements:
1. National Craft Card
2. 8-hour shift
3. Weekend availability – Paid overtime
4. On call rota – 1 in 8 – Allowance €175
Experience:
Electrical Engineering: 3 years (required)
