IRC have partnered with a long standing client once again to bring this brand new and exciting role to market. We are looking to bring in an On Site IT Support Officer to work alongside a dynamic team based in Shannon, Co. Clare!
Principal Accountabilities
IT Services :
1. First Level Support for all EKAS IT related issues.
2. Manage all IT ticket creation through to closure.
3. Quickly analyze and troubleshoot IT issues through to resolution.
4. Work with and build relationship with IT IE and the IT helpdesk for quick support where needed.
5. Assist in setting up and maintaining reports from our various systems.
6. Set up and maintain inboxes and permissions.
Tool Support:
7. First Level support for all site related application issues.
8. Liaise and network with IT IE, IT helpdesk and external vendor for support where required.
9. Identify opportunities for improvements and increased efficiencies.
10. Support EKAS CSD Manager on day to day running of tools.
11. Support EKAS CSD Manager on logins/permission requests on a daily basis.
12. Support as required on implementation of systems ( UAT, roll out of new features)
Telecoms and Other:
13. First level support for all site related Telecoms problems.
14. Able to quickly analyze and troubleshoot Telco issues.
15. Set up and maintain all phone logins, and terminals
16. Set up and maintain all EKAS phone lines as required.
17. Facilitate reports from IQ when required.
Network Management:
18. Manage the size and archiving of the EKAS shared drives.
19. Grant folder permission as requested.
Asset Management
20. Manage EKAS IT inventory
21. Keep inventory list up to date - this includes all hardware and license
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
IT Skills :
22. Expert Knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office 365.
23. Keep up to date with recent Windows operating systems.
24. Some understanding of MySQL and VBA, HTML would be an advantage
25. Understanding of IP Phone setup.
26. Understanding of printer / fax setup
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to learn, take instruction and communicate feedback
Strong understanding of reporting tools and techniques.
Ability to operate and communicate in a structured manner.
