Job OverviewAs an SAP Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for translating customer design requirements and payroll calculation rules into SAP's payroll engine.
You will support business operations by configuring, adjusting, and managing payroll functions within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring operational stability and efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical expert for SAP SuccessFactors (SAP's Cloud Payroll solution ECP), engaging with user groups and communities to optimize its capabilities.Translate business requirements into system configurations and design specifications.
Document new and existing application requirements to align with business needs.Manage changes to existing SuccessFactors configurations and integrations, ensuring system updates align with evolving business needs.Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to optimize processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and enhancements, conducting thorough testing to ensure seamless transitions.Contribute to the strategic roadmap for global IT initiatives by supporting organizational objectives through SuccessFactors functionality.Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation of SuccessFactors to enhance efficiency, automation, and user experience.Work closely with business teams to understand their needs, propose solutions, and prioritize implementations.Coordinate with internal and external partners, including third-party software providers and internal audit/security teams, to ensure efficient and compliant configurations and integrations.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM Payroll/ECP or equivalent payroll systems such as ADP/GlobalView.Strong experience in Germany and France SAP Payroll.In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, including tax calculations, particularly within European markets (UK, Ireland, Portugal, etc.
).Strong understanding of integration between ECP Employee Central Payroll, Employee Central, SAP ECC, and non-SAP systems.Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions per business requirements.Ability to analyze complex data and system solutions to deliver effective business outcomes.Solid understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management in global organizations.Ability to translate business requirements into system configuration objects and create solution designs compliant with best practices.Well-organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proactive, independent, and a strong team player.Fluent in English (both written and spoken).Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly acquire new competencies and adapt to evolving environments.Nice to Have:Experience managing configurations and confidential data within the SAP SuccessFactors ECP module.Ability to analyze and modify payroll/time schemas and rules.Prior exposure to SAP SuccessFactors integrations.Knowledge and experience with SAP Cloud Integration.Ability to read and write ABAP code.SAP HR/ECP Certification.Master's degree in Business Administration or IT Management.This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
