As the company continues to expand, it is seeking a Country Manager to drive the growth of its operations in Ireland.
The Country Manager will oversee all operations in Ireland, ensuring the success of services related to payments and collections, business lending, and FX risk management.
Responsibilities include:
* Hiring and managing a sales team
* Setting sales goals
* Implementing sales programs
* Boosting sales performance through training and development
The Role:
* Lead and manage the sales team, including recruiting, training, and performance management
* Set sales targets and forecast expected sales volumes
* Implement regional sales programs and training plans
* Ensure adherence to company-wide sales processes
* Collaborate with Marketing, Corporate Development, and Product teams to communicate product messages and provide feedback
* Stay updated on industry trends by attending workshops, reading publications, and networking
* Contribute to team success by achieving specific results
* Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit as needed to meet demand
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven sales leadership experience in financial institutions, ideally in FX or Payments
* Strong commercial experience and network in the Irish market
* Passion and hunger for sales, and to build and drive a sales organisation
* Experience in a commercial bank or similar environment, selling to mid-size corporates
* Knowledge of the local market and experience with large-scale recruitment
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Passionate, energetic, and motivational leader
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and market share goals
* Excellent communication skills, able to inspire and align teams with a common vision
* Ability to set clear objectives and execute with autonomy
* Skilled in mentoring, managing, and developing people
* Effective leader and collaborator within a matrix organization
* Strong commercial support in the field, developing sales strategies based on customer feedback
* Skilled negotiator, able to achieve goals while protecting interests
