Excel Recruitment currently has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Key Account Manager.
Our client, a highly established logistics company, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team. This role would be responsible for managing a large portfolio of customers throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience selling into and managing retail accounts. This role would be a mix of both office-based in our client's office in Dublin West and field-based.
Duties will include:
* Develop and implement sales and retention strategies.
* Exhibit keen analytical and critical thinking skills, identifying potential for growth and continuous improvements.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and distributors.
* Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Monitor and evaluate sales performance, market share, and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
* 3 years+ experience in a similar role.
* Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM-based software is a plus.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships.
* Organizational and time-management skills.
