Quality Assurance Officer Competitive Salary Part-time – 2 days per week – Fixed Term Dublin As our Quality Assurance Officer, you will ensure compliance with QQI's quality standards and guidelines while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the institution.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high educational standards and achieving QQI accreditation by ensuring that the institution consistently meets regulatory requirements while prioritising student learning outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the creation, implementation, and regularly monitor and review quality assurance policies and procedures in line with QQI's Core Statutory Quality Assurance (QA) Guidelines.
Ensure policies are in place and meet QQI requirements for protection of enrolled learners, teaching, assessment, student support and governance.
Monitor Programme Development and Validation, ensuring it is in line with QQ1's accreditation standards Oversee the preparation and storage of all documents, ensuring they are compliant and inspection ready.
Oversee transparency and transmission of up-to-date, correct information to students regarding programmes, assessment, supports, policies, pre-arrival details, etc.
Oversee the monitoring of staff recruitment/training/appraisal, and staff development.
Ensuring this is correctly managed and reviewed to meet the changing needs of the business.
Ensure all relevant quality assurance policies and procedures are in place and up to date.
Identify and mitigate risks related to non-compliance or poor quality.
Collaborate with senior management to ensure quality assurance is embedded in the institution's governance structure.
Skills & Experience: Educated to at least level 8, Qualified to Level 8 Recognised English language Teaching qualification; CELTA, DELTA, etc Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Experience in policy or procedure development and or review Familiarity with and experience of QQI regulatory requirements.
