The Role We are currently seeking a Group Financial Accountant (GFA) within the support services function joining our team of experienced, motivated, and high performing finance professionals.
The GFA is responsible for the preparation, analysis and reporting of the Support Services cost centre and holding/financing company financial performance.
In this role, the GFA will engage with the support services functional leads through fostering strong relationships across the senior management community.
The GFA will report on the financial performance of OASIS support services and holding/financing subsidiaries across P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and other metrics.
The GFA will be responsible for liaising with the relevant stakeholders to consolidate, analyse and challenge where appropriate the Support Services Budget (ATL/NRC & Capex) in addition to monitoring and providing insight into the performance.
Key Responsibilities Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts. Preparation and ownership of full year forecast for the Support Services cost centre. Preparation of reconciliations (balance sheet, intercompany, wages etc.). Preparation of periodic VAT returns. Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the business. Deliver useful insights to the relevant stakeholders. Assisting with Corporation Tax compliance matters. Providing support to the Group Statutory audit. Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the Group. Drafting of individual financial statements using Caseware software. Assist with the monitoring and reporting on key initiatives/projects in the Group. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the business to support the organisation's needs. Candidate Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience in a related field. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Good technical accounting knowledge. Excellent Excel Knowledge. Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven capability in problem solving and data manipulation. Ability to show initiative and drive process improvements. Experience working with Microsoft F&O an advantage.
