About the Role
As we continue to expand, we now have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team to support our colleagues across the country in providing our services to those who we care for.
Based in our offices in Sligo Town, this post offers a hybrid model of working within a well-resourced team.
About You
You will be flexible, professional, approachable, sharp mindset, organised, and have an excellent work ethic. Within this role you will get to immerse yourself in all facets of HR operations. From policy advisory and employee relations management to HR systems maintenance and learning and development, you'll play a vital role in supporting the team's expertise.
Essential Criteria
1. Hold a third level qualification in a relevant area such as Human Resource Management, Business or Law
2. A minimum of 3 years' working experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role within the past 5 years
3. Strong demonstrable understanding of current and imminent Irish Employment Law
4. Experience of management and maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems
5. Highly IT competent in all aspects of Microsoft 365
Desirable Criteria
1. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
2. Experience of working in health or social care
3. At least six months in a supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as trusted consultant to managers on all employee relations, grievance and disciplinary issues by providing a professional and credible HR service.
2. Provide HR advice to Line Managers and employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle, ensuring advice is legally compliant and in line with company policy & procedure
3. Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries or requests and provide assistance
4. Support employee relations and internal communications activities.
5. Alignment and implementation of policies and procedures across the organisation
6. Implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of the HR Information System across the organisation
7. Extraction and analysis of data from the HR Information system as required
8. Undertake projects relating to a range of HR disciplines as assigned by the Group Director of Human Resources
9. Work closely with the recruitment team to support the achievement of our talent acquisition plans nationwide.
10. Assist in the design and delivery of internal training and development of colleagues.
11. Liaise with payroll as required
12. Produce accurate and professional correspondence, policy documents etc. as required.
13. Maintain HR record systems to ensure all employment requirements are met.
14. Deputise for the Group Director of Human Resources as required
