Barden are delighted to be partnering with our FMGC client, one of Europe’s most successful family-owned business in their search for a Sourcing Analyst.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The position will allow the successful person to gain valuable insight into sourcing and value chain projects while working closely with Sourcing Managers and the Head of Sourcing in a supportive capacity. In this position, you will have the responsibility for sourcing projects across multiple categories, collecting market intelligence and data to inform strategy and contribute to cost reduction efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist the Sourcing team in securing the most cost-effective Own Brand and tertiary products for the business.
* Oversee, update, and maintain the Own Brand Cost Base file.
* Provide live, monthly, and quarterly reports on the financial impact to the Own Brand cost base.
* Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across functions.
* Gather and analyse data to update Quotation Overviews (QOs), KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
* Manage and maintain contract information to ensure compliance.
* Keep the sourcing calendar for the department up to date.
* Oversee and manage e-Sourcing platforms and data systems.
* Ensure adherence to Musgrave's policies and procedures.
* Constantly challenge current processes to find opportunities for simplification and optimisation
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
* Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
* Proficient in analytical and computer skills to analyze data and uncover opportunities and trends.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially MS SharePoint, MS Planner, Power Automate, Power Query, automation tools (e.g., MS Power Automate suite), process mapping, and robotic process automation.
