The Clifden Station House Hotel is seeking a highly motivated Accommodation Manager to lead our housekeeping team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our bedrooms, apartments, public areas, and back of house spaces. _____________________________________________________________________________________ About the Role As Accommodation Manager, you will ensure that our guests enjoy a spotless and comfortable environment. You will lead and inspire a team of approximately 20 staff, maintain the highest cleanliness standards, and manage the departments budgets and resources efficiently. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Recruit, roster, train, and manage the Accommodation Team to deliver exceptional results. Plan and organize workloads to maximize productivity and maintain standards. Ensure staff uniforms are well-maintained and presented professionally. Operational Excellence: Oversee housekeeping operations across all guest rooms, apartments, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Inspect premises daily to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization. Coordinate with Reception to plan room allocations for both the Hotel and Apartments. Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and courteously. Financial and Resource Management: Manage the accommodation departments budget, control costs, and monitor productivity. Handle stock management, including ordering supplies and managing linen returns. Adapt to changes in business levels to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining standards. Policy Implementation: Implement and oversee HR policies related to recruitment, grievance and discipline, performance appraisals, and staff communication. ____________________________________________________________________________________ What Were Looking For Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs. Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards. Ability to inspire and motivate a team to exceed expectations.
