**Key Responsibilities**
You will be responsible for managing a team of operators while planning day-to-day production activities.
As an excellent communicator, you will work with many departments and external entities to accomplish goals.
* Diagnose/fault-find any maintenance issues and provide solutions to remedy the problem.
* Ensure that all maintenance records are correctly completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and systems to enhance efficiency.
* Ensure timely completion of training records/status to ensure compliance with the ISO training system.
* Lead and support Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives while providing encouragement, motivation and support to team members.
* The Process Lead is also responsible for achieving key department metrics and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coach/mentor team members on effective performance and identify and address development needs; complete performance reviews with team members.
* Ensure adherence to 6S in the Operation areas ensuring the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be productive and protective of human health, safety and the environment.
**Qualifications/Experience**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A third-level qualification or trade certificate in an Engineering/Science/Manufacturing discipline.
* A minimum of 3 years' work experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical experience in mechanical, electrical, controls engineering.
* A strong communicator.
